I'm new to BES and none of my colleagues have ever tried this before. Does the user just need to activate the new device or is there more involved? The user is changing from a 7250 to a 7130. Thanks. Patrick

Are you using BES 4.0 with wireless activation? If so, you should be able to activate a new device and the server updates the new device information during the activation. I underlined should because it doesn't always work. Sometimes you have have to delete the users BES account and purge the state database.

Yes it is 4.0 and we are using wireless activation. I'll try deleting the account if the user calls back. Thanks for the advice.
