Default Push URLs to BlackBerry Browser?

Please Login to Remove!

Do any of you have any tricks to push out a URL to a device OTA?

I know about Browser Channels, but those are for pushing content. My CIO wants me to get our Intranet link pushed to all devices OTA if possible.

Any ideas?

Once upon a time I did something similar to this. I downloaded the Blackberry JDE (think that's the correct term) and actually pushed a new icon to a handful of devices (as a test) that went directly to our Intranet - one click access. Have to refresh my memory on this, though, since it's been over a year and I haven't even looked at how I did it

Why not use the IT policy and set all Blackberry handheld devices use your business website as their home page?

Just a thought.

I will look into the JDE and see what I can find, but if you happen to come across your process, I would greatly appreciate your sharing it

As far as setting them all to our Intranet, that could be done, but I think we are going to try to eventually send links to all of our different intranet pages that are BlackBerry friendly. Would like to have the knowledge for the future.

Really appreciate your guys' feedback.. Keep it coming..

Thanks
Greg
