How do you get the time to show as email received Exchange inbox, instead of time delivered to the BB device? Is there a setting on the BES to do this?

They should be virtually identical. AAMOF, I use a notebook at work. My Outlook 2003 is set to cached folders and my BB notifies me of the e-mail before it shows up on the notebook.

Is this by design?

It would not present a problem if I can my BB on and have signal 24x7. I program the BB to turn off at night and turn on every morning (my quiet hours). When I travel, my BB can be turned off for at least a few hours. I also have times when I can be without a computer for extended period of time.

When the BB comes back to range (or back on), my email will start pouring in, all with the same time stamp. I have no way to tell how long has the email been sitting in my inbox unless I can get to the OWA. It is embarassing sometimes to reply to email without knowing when you received it.

Is there a solution to this?

On the BlackBerry you see in the list the time when it is received by your BlackBerry, if you open the email and scroll up you see the sent time of the mail in the header.

Took me some time searching for this topic! BlackBerryLinks, thanks for the info about where to find the actual time sent. Is there a setting that I could change so the inbox list would reflect that actual time sent? Or is this a design flaw?

It is by design and not a flaw.
