I got a smiliar message once, prior to HF4, and a simple BES server OS reboot cleared it up.

It would be advisable to run some of the domino maintenance tasks (fixup, updall and compact) on the BES\*.nsf files.

Cool In some cases basic maintenance doesn't work

Does anyone have an idea as to why this is happening, even when you're running maintenance (updall, fixup, compact, etc.) is doesn't always clear "all" corruptions. I've found that simply opening the users State DB clears the issue........wierd@@#@!$

Any suggestions or help would be great!

Thanking you in advance

I am seeing the same thing on multiple users, we are running domino 6.5.2 with bes 4.0 with sp3. I researched the error message and found it relates to a memory leak. But i have limited rights to our bes box and cant troubleshoot any further.

SP3 has a known issue with memory leak, check out release notes for hotfixes for SP3. Keyword is "system resources"... Upgrade to latest SP/HF is your next move.

Default seeing this a lot with 4.04.8

I am pretty convinced that when we were told to upgrade one of our 4 BES servers to 4.04.8 to address a slow startup issue, this was the beginning of this stateDB issue.

But, it also impacts a BES with is still 4.0.2.12, and it shares the same SQL database on the backend in common.

so in effect the schema change is my suspect, but I have yet to be able to prove this.

it may be worth to ensure that the 4 BES servers and the SQL server are all on the SAME MDAC 2.8 SP2. I have heard of the different in the version causing server performance, esp. if the besmgmt database is shared by many servers.

same problem here today in 100ths of state databases. dammit. One thing i noticed: when documents from users with a "corrupt state db" in the BlackBerry Users Profiles database an error message appears: Database "servername/statedbpath" has not been opened yet".

We are running BES 4.1 with hotfix 1 on Domino 6.5.5 FP2. Seems like alot of users have a f***** BlackBerry now. Upgraded to BES 4.1 in the past weekend, seems like the design update of the state databases caused these problems
