BES is the server-based software that integrates with Exchange and redirects email to a handheld associated with that user's mailbox. Neverfail would be used as an HA solution for the BlackBerry Enterprise Server environment (and Exchange, if purchased that as well).

Any HA solution should be adaptable for a number of software packages. Neverfail simply offers a solution for an automated and integrated HA requirement. MessageOne offers a similar solution with their OneSwitch software. There are a few others out there, as well.
