When I moved user from Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003 blackberry handheld stoped receiving emails and I had to move user back to Exchange 2000. Is there a procedure for such a move?

permissions/roles set up correctly on the 2003 administrative group(s) and information store(s)? typically when something doesn't work like that, the BES service account simply doesn't have the correct permissions/roles configured.

you'll probably also need to run "Handheld cleanup -u" that will update the user's distinguished name in the BES db after moving their mailbox to the new exchange server. I had to do that in the same situation (exchange 2000 to 2003).
