Default BES Time Zone questions

Please Login to Remove!

We are in Indianapolis, and are about to adopt the daylight savings change. Anyone know how much this will effect the BES. Obviously we have to change all of our server timezones, but will there need to be special considerations taken for the BES? Also, is there a way to update device timezones other that touching all of them individually? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

Paul

You shouldn't have a problem with DST. Set your BES to adjust for daylight savings time and you are good. Your handheld's can be set to use network time and will be updated automatically.

The handhelds shouldn't need to be updated unless you didn't select Indiana (-5) in the first place. Otherwise, they will need to be updated. On the servers, why not just select the Indiana time zone and let the OS handle the time zone changes for you?
