Default besmigration.exe question

Please Login to Remove!

Quick question for those who've used the besmigration utility... I know using the same SRP ID for source & target prevents a lot of certificate issues, but what if you use a different BES Server name? Is it a best practice to keep the BES names the same during a migration? Thanks.

I take it you're referring to the BESMigration.exe utility. I would very much recommend against using a different BES Server name. I can't imagine being able to migrate users to Server that doesn't exist in the database yet.

Try it out with the Preview mode to see what it does.
