Hi, I have a problem on a 7290 where hte Internet Browser won't show up. Only the Blackberry Browser will. Is there a setting in the BES policys that would stop the blackberry from having any other browsers except the Blackberry Browser? I have BB OS v4.0.2.49

Try going to options > Host Routing Table > Highlight one (the first one is fine) of the networks click in on your track wheel and choose "Register Now" Re-registering the handheld should cause the Browser icon to show up.

It is possible that you are restricted by IT Policy. The easiest way to check (without speaking with your Admin) is go to Options->Service Book. Any service that has been blocked will have an 'X' next to the service book.

I had the same problem when I upgraded the OS on a freind's 7520. I had him go to his BIS options, and resend the service book. That worked.
