We recently upgraded a server, doing a fresh BES 3.6 install on the new server. The database hotfixes, SP7 , etc. were all installed properly, and are running. The problem is that, even after numerous uninstalls/reinstalls the Blackberry Service #1 is not installing, and the option to install the service never appears during when running setup. Any ideas of what could be causing this?

The SP7 Installation Guide gives the following reason

*If you install the BlackBerry Enterprise Server on a computer that is running Terminal Services in Application
Server mode, you are only permitted to install BlackBerry Enterprise Server Management.

You also want to make sure you met all the software requirements.

Forgot that Server 2003 defaults to installing the TS in application mode. Thanks for the pointer.
