Default activation on multiple handhelds

Please Login to Remove!

Im pretty sure that this is not possible, but has anyone been able to activate 2 bb units on the same bes account with exchange? I have a user that carrys 2 blackberrys for testing and he would like to have his email go to both devices.

I was thinking that i could do some email forwarding if he only wants to check mail. If i were to go this route then i would have to create another AD account and activate, then set his original account to forward to the new user inbox. (so at this point mail should get to both fine) However, when he replys on the second unit it will say it came from "username1" or something similar rather than what his REAL email address is which might cause some confusion as to what his email addy really is. I have heard that you can spoof the reply address but is that option available when on the BES server? any suggestions would be great.

Found this on here, enough said......

Well, I had awaited a response from RIM tech support (posted this message at the same time) and sadly, they only had the following to offer:

Unfortunately at this time the BlackBerry Enterprise Server is designed to handheld one BlackBerry handheld per mailbox.
You can try suggesting it as a future feature by e-mailing your suggestion at [email address]

Not sure why he would want to do this, but you could create two mailboxes, bave exchange reflect the same mail in both boxes by using autoforwarding, and then configure the separate accounts on separate handhelds.
