Default Phone Icon Missing Form Main Menu?

Please Login to Remove!

I have an employee that said his phone Icon is no longer on his main menue. I had him press the green phone key to see if it would take him to the dial screen but it didn't.

I tried calling his blackberry and it rang but he couldn't ever see the call come in or hear the ring.

I resent the IT policy and had him perform a reset on the BlackBerry by pulling out the battery and putting it back in but that didnt work...

Does anybody have and insite on this issue?

Default

I am going to guess that he (or someone) upgraded the OS on his BB. When that was done, they did not make sure that the Phone option (in Application Loader) was checked off.

Delete vendor.xml on the local PC C: drive

Restart Desktop Manager and application loader should start.

Make sure the Phone icon is checked off....

That should fix it.
