| Odd Excel Spreadsheet issues when opening on BBs Please Login to Remove! Running BES 4.0 latest SP with hotfixes applied, I have an excel spreadsheet that when being emailed to users they cannot open, it just shows the clock and hangs.
Thinking it was a size issue, I went into the spreadsheet, theres quite a few sheets in there itself, 27 sheets to be exact, the first 25 are no more then 44 rows down by 25 columns across (A - Y), the last two are "help" sheets that are roughly 100some rows down by one column (A).
In its entireity the file size is 330k or so, no limit is set in the attachment service on the BES so thats not it.
Now heres the kicker, thinking it was a size issue, I started removing some sheets, I removed the very last two sheets, the help sheets that are about 100 x 1 and re-sent myself the file, it opens fine.
Any ideas?
I'm no genius when it comes to excel so I've no idea if theres something going on like code behind the pages or something?
Why would the last two sheets cause the issue?
Users have "claimed" that this file opened last year and stopped around November, the guys who put the file together say nothign has changed in the file at all, in fact I was able to find an old copy from '05 back in June, July, November, Sept, etc and they still won't open.
After I remove the last two help sheets, they open fine.
When running through the Attachment service test, it fails on the full file, but with the two help sheets removed it converts fine and gives me output.
