Default pushing out apps

Hi all,

I wanted to know if it is possible to push out an app like BBToday via BES 4.0 to handhelds with OS 4.0?
Of course this is assuming that there's nothing wrong with trying to do this - meaning that it is not illegal....if it is, please let me know. I - along with anyone i've shown the program to - really love this program and I do not want to do anything against the developers wishes.
The reason I ask this is because i'm trying to save each user who gets upgraded to 4.0 to have to do the OTA installation - it'd be a lot easier if we can just push it out using the server.

thank you to anyone who replies for your time.

With BES v4.0, you can specify required applications as well as apps that are not allowed.

I believe this is done in the BlackBerry Handheld Manager app.

Yes you can with BES4.

You can specify multiple software configurations to send to devices. For example:

We have admin color and admin BW, and user color and user BW.

admin color & BW get idokorro mobile admin package

user color & BW get nothing and have install 3rd party apps set to false.

User color and admin color get BBtoday.
