via usb from server to a 7250, all messages synched to bb showed todays date and time of synch instead of date and time exchange had received them.

1. then i did a wireless synch and it appears newly received mails date stamped ok. is this just a quirk of bes or can i wipe out the mail on the bb and rescynch wirelessly to get correct date/time stamp?

2. can i specify synching w a public contacts folder?

regardless, i synched w current user's private contacts folder which should not go on the bb. if i can synch w a public or another private or even if i have to move and copy the public to the user's private, i'll want to wipe out what's on the pda contacts and start again. how would i do that w/o hard resetting the bb?
