If my BES is set up properly, and properly talking to my BB's, should I be seeing any traffic in my router logs to or from the BES server over port 3101?

I'm trying to figure out why the BB browser on my BB doesn't work, and e-mail doesn't work, while the Nextel browser does work.

It's a 7520. The BES is an evaluation copy of 4.0. It appears to activate ok with the Handheld Configuration tool, but I can't get any of the BES related OTA functions to work.

Yep. Green icon in BES Manager.

Do I need a publicly accessible DNS name for the BES server (as in www.hostname.com)? Right now, I have a dynamic IP address that has been pretty stable. Haven't gotten around to setting up a dynamic DNS addrss yet.

I can activate the BB with the Handheld config tool, but once I pull the plug, nothing happens on the BB that uses the BES.

I can't activate wirelessly as I don't have a publicly accessible e-mail account that I want to use with the BB, and only have Exchange Server set up for internal e-mail.

The BES logs seem to indicate things are normal as there are no obvious errors, and the pings are sent out regularly.

Thanks,

June
