As far as I know, if you have Exchange 5.5 your BES has to be on Windows 2000. Won't work on 2003.
Can someone confirm this?

We have Exchange 5.5
The BES is 4.0, running on Windows Server 2003.
Exchange 2003 is backwards compatible, so it can be installed on the BES server and still work with your Exchange 5.5 environment.

So are you saying that you have 2003 system manager tools installed?
Maybe that's what it is then; that you can't have the 5.5 admin tools installed on Windows 2003 server.
