I'm sure this must exist, but I couldn't find it when I searched the forums.

Is there a utility available which will show, from a handheld, whether it has a valid connection back to its registered BES.

I guess you can test it by sending an email and seeing whether you get the red cross ratehr than the blue tick, but that's hardly user friendly! Is there a better/easier option?

Ideally I'd like an icon at the top of the screen showing the BES status, but I guess that would need integrating into a theme.
