Default Weird Outlook sync behaviour - 04-27-2006, 09:27 AM

We rolled out approximately 25 BlackBerry 7290 with a BES v4 server. Everything seemed to be going fine, until yesterday afternoon. Now, one of our users is getting some strange stuff going on with his email.

He could only see some old emails, nothing new, although he could still send and the icon would update when he received mail, but he doesn't see it. It mysteriously resolved itself this morning, and then mysteriously it happened again. This user gets approx 100 emails a day.

Any ideas?

David

I reduced the length of time to keep emails from a default of 30 days, down to 15 days, all looks fine now. Does this make sense?

If you are talking about Outlook, check the View settings and make sure that he didn't accidentally filter his view.
