Default BES 4.0 and ex 2000 und 2003

Please Login to Remove!

Hallo,
we have BES 4.0 (hotfix #1) and exchange 2000 and 2003.
All in all ok.
Today we had to move users from one server to another.
Since then the BBs do not sync anymore.
Does anybody know which cdo.dll are valid for 2000 and 2003?
Which one to load on the BES server?

Thanks
Michael

Got It.
The cdo needs to be the latest from 2003 sp1 and put on the BES.
And our problem was related to permissions.

I found that "googling":
Quote:
Had an issue with installing a second exchange server in the domain. When I added new users in the Blackberry Management Console that were on the new user I kept getting messages like, 'User * not started' and '{*} *** MAPI *** MAPIMailbox::CreateSearchFolder - Open Entry (0x80070005) failed' in the Application event log.

After struggling for a few hours I realized I had a permissions issue with creating the new mailbox account on the new server. Solution was to:
Open System Manager for Exchange and right click the new server -> Select properites -> Select Security Tab and make sure the BlackBerry Service accounts have Administer Information store, Send as, Receive as set to allow. Yep that was it.
So if you ever see this error in the BES eventlog, it might be because you have moved or replaced an exchange server. After setting the rights and waiting a few minutes for replication all was ok again.

Greetings
Michael
