Default Restricted relaying message to BES from Domino - 05-02-2006, 04:52 AM

Hi Guys,

Email: Domino 5.0.6
BES OS : Windows 2003 sp1
Proxy : POSTFIX under Fedura Core

BES Version: 4.0.3

Problem:
Router Message: Rejected for policy reasons
Router:Policy Reason: CN=xx users email address on domino=PH is restricted from sending mail through server <BES SERVER>

User cant send - internal
- external

User can received - external emails

I already configured everything on domino e.g. server documents/ connections etc...
included ips (domino/bes) on the host file

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Check the "Restriction and Controls" section of the "Configuration Settings" document. There are some additional tabs for "Restrictions" and "SMTP Outbound Controls". There may possibly be an IP address or Notes address identified in there.

Got it solved...

Found out that my BES is not replicating my primary domino address.

I dont know why.

So, i managed to edit the users added to the bes re their valid email address..
causing the postfix firewall to reject them..

Now its working.

tnx.
