Our company is looking to implement McAfee Anti-Spam Software on Exchange Server 2003. Based on what I know about BES and the diagrams I have seen, the BES looks to be in front of the Exchange Server and will not get the SPAM filtered before it gets to the device.

Is this true? If yes, is there any solution to have corporate spam control with a BES?

The best way to look at BES is just another client to your exchange, domino or groupwise server. Your device, at its simplest, is simply another client to access your email. So whatever anti-spam/virus/etc software you have running on exchange will work for everything, including BES
