Default Launch Notes Client

Only time I ever get this error is when the Mail Server is down, or has changed TCP/IP address and BES server had an entry in hosts file.

Launch the Notes client on your BES Server and open the server in question, this will tell you if can see the server from a Notes level.

I had this error:
Unable to get address book list - will try again in 1 minute (Unable to find path to server 0x0803)

but launching the client on the server and opened the server in question and it fixed the problem as you stated

thanks

You will get that if you manually entered the Address Book Location and the user's mail file was later moved to a new mail server.

Default Make sure BES Server has Manager access

You need to make sure that your BES Server is listed in each user's mailfile ACL with Manager access.

-- OR --

You might find it easier to simply add the BES Server to your LocalDomainServers group, and then make sure that this entry is listed in each user's mailfile ACL as

User type: Server Group
Access: Manager

Hope this helps!

A good way to test the connection:
open BES server Domino console and type:
trace servername/ou/o
If you can't connect, go check your connection docs From Bes to mail server
