Default BES 4.1 Express + Virtual Server 2005 + SBS 2003

Greetings:
I'm trying to setup a small 4.1 BES (express) for exchange environment with 2-3 users and am looking for some guidance on a single-box solution.

I was planning to start out with SBS 2003 and install virtual server 2005 R2 then install the BES on the virtual server. I plan to use MDS and attachments.

First question is: Will this work? I have read some posts where it seems like it will. (I accept that RIM doesn't "officially" support this configuration).

Second question is: How much memory/CPU do I need on the server? Is 1G overkill for so few users? I'm assuming single CPU is ok too.

Thanks in advance

Personally I've had better luck with VMware's server software (plus it's free). If you only have 2-3 users then 1GB should be enough and single CPU should be OK as long as it is at least P4 class. However if you are looking to run more than one virtual OS on top of SBS 2003 you may want to look at a more robust system, especially depending on what the other virtual OS is going to be doing.

If you want to make sure it works, set it up and then download a demo of BES and see if it works that way. If it does, purchase BES and all will be good.
