| Wav file MMS to 8700c Please Login to Remove! Well for those who dont know that you cannot send a wav file to an 8700c via mms, why, because Cingular network doesnt support MMS to 8700, the devices are supported by Blackberry, but Cingular network does not. This has been brought up before and support document is KB59095.
What blew me away was when I called Tmobile today they do support mms messages to the Blackberry, and engineer I spoke with recieved my message and played it very easiliy.
We are hopiing to get a Tmobile bb in the next few days to test and if it works, we may start deploying Tmobile BBs instead of Cingular. Of course maybe coverage is not as good as Cingular but its worth a shot, until BES supports playing wavs via email.
I know a cost will be incurred but we have some of our users who need to quickly get to their voice mail.
Is anyone using something different that easily will allow user to play wav files via email? |
