Hello,

We have BES 4.0 in the org and the users are complaining they are unable to open RTF attachments files. Is this by design? Is there a way to allow for RTF files to be opened from a handheld?

I'm not sure if this is going to work. I don’t know what an RTF file looks like, but you might "MIGHT" be able to apply the following KB to your server. Just change the csv to rtf.
