Default BES Logon Client Version - 06-06-2006, 06:14 PM
Quick question,

in the ESM (2K3) when you drill down into the storage groups to see the logon information, what version do you see for the BES account?

I see Client Verison 6.0.7638.2, however, the CDO version I have is 6.5.7638.2.

could this result in unwanted behavior?

what's the MAPI32.dll version on the BES? that's what ESM is tracking, if i'm not mistaken.

your normal Outlook clients would be found in C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033 (with 2007 B2 currently at 12.0.4017.1006).

The version on the BES is 6.5.7638.1

correct, in both places, and they match the one on the exchange server as well...
