Default View filed emails on BB?

Please Login to Remove!

Exchange 2003 SP1, BES v3.6, soon to be BES v4.1 SP1

I know on the BB you can file messages into folders (not Personal Folders), but emails you filed into those folders in Outlook cannot be viewed on the BB. Does that change w/v4.1?

When this has the most impact is an exec's admin is monitoring the exec's Inbox and is filing emails into the exec's folders. The exec would like to be able to go to those folders on the BB and read them.

thanks in advance

If the message has been delivered to the handheld and the message has been filed you should still be able to view that message on the BB itself. The only time messages are deleted from the handheld is when the users delete them or if the message has been deleted in outlook and a mailbox rescan happens for the user and reconciles the message to the handheld. This should be the same for BES 3.6 to 4.1. It may also depend on the version of HH code is running on the BB itself.

If the messege was first delivered to the device then you can define whther or not you see the messege at Options -> general Options - > Hide Filed Messages (you start at the messege windows).

If you want mail from other folders do be delivered to the device that is done thrue desktop manager or the BES.
