We have moved the mailbox of one of our Blackberry users from one Exchange server to another. After doing so, the handheld (BB7290) was not able to update and synchorize. When I checked the account using BB Manager I found out that the account wasn't able to see the mailbox of the user. I tried to recreate the account in BB Manager but it doesn't allow me because of an error saying that it cannot connect to the mailbox.

Have anyone experienced this? Your inputs will be a great help. Thanks.

Most of the time, the BES will pick that up after a little time. You can try to right click on the user and hit "Reload" that might do the trick.

Give the user a new MAPI profile.

If you give the user a new MAPI profile that shuld do it. Be sure to re-point to this new profile in Desktop Manager.

After you move a user from one Exchange server to another you will need to run handheldcleanup.exe -u on the BES. The utility should be in the program files\RIM\BES\utility folder.

If the user was moved from one Exchange store to another on the same Exchange server you will need to restart the BES services to pick up the change.
