Default MailStreet And BES 4.0

I have just finished setting up Mail Street with BES for a friend of mine. Its amazing! I have a couple of questions that hopefully someone could answer:

1. The device is running 4.0 and to activate BES, all I did was run the enterprise activation from the device which seems to have worked fine. The documentation that Mail Street has sent mentions having to sync it to Outlook etc Is this really necessary?
2. It does not appear if Notes are syncing. There does not appear to be a reconcile now option for Notes. Can someone explain how this should work?

1. One last time syncing to outlook BEFORE you activate, is necessary. Otherwise, PIM data you added after your last BlackBerry Desktop sync and before wireless synchronization got enabled, will never get synchronization. However, if you never added any new PIM data during this time window, then you don't need to connect to BlackBerry Desktop for sync again.

2. I have noticed this too. I think Mailstreet has Notes synchronization disabled (I could be wrong). You may want to use Mailstreet's live chat support to see if they can pull it off.
