I am going to be installing BES into a Lotus Notes 6.5.3 environment and I am wondering if I am reading the instructions incorrectly.

Does the BES server need to have a local Lotus Notes Server installed on it as well?

Also since I am new to the Blackberry world, is there a FAQ that explains the Lotus installation process.

You only need to install from the bes box a domino server then choose additional server option..

define the parameters required on the additional server info..like server id...etc..

then thats it...
install bes 4.0.
make sure to read all requisities upon the installation of the bes..
server documents...etc..
