Talking Re-process messages by BES. (Domino/Lotus Notes)

Please Login to Remove!

Once and a while I have a user who's wireless data plan gets disabled and as a result the BES will continue to process the messages but they get refused by the network. After the data plan gets re-enabled those messages are not being re-processed but only new messages will get delivered to the device.

Replacing the user's state database with an older copy will cause those messages to be resent but unfortunately we only back those up once a day and users might end up with duplicate messages on their Blackberry. I'm wondering if anyone out there has tackled this problem with snapshot technology on a SAN or perhaps is there a way to hack into the state database and remove the recent documents and have the server re-process recent messages? Anybody any thoughts on this?

Thanks,

Marc
