Default Needing user reboot, and not in GPRS/EDGE network GSM only

Please Login to Remove!

Last week when i woke up my BB was on GSM network. Powered off and back on all was well, got Edge coverage.

But when i got to work i saw all 90+ BBs we support had not contacted server around same time my lost its conenction.
Come to find out Cingular had an issue and only way to resolve i was to power on and back on devices.

Because the devices were on GSM network, i could not send apb to them device or email users. I ended up using Cingulars website to send a text message to all the handhelds.

ANyone else every have similar issue, any easy way to send text message to multiple devices?

I had the same issue a couple of times with most of the Blackberrys I support, I didn't get chance to send text messages or contact users- they all rang me to report the problem.

Have now created a FAQ's guide that I send users with new issues and problems I have come across.

Might check out that free sms tool though, sounds like an idea!
