We are running BES 4.0 with the latest service packs and hotfixes. Our organization will be changing the domain name. What is the impact on our BES server? Thanks in advance!

Just guessing, but it shouldn't do anything.

you will have to update your mapi client after you change your domain name on your email server

How do I update the MAPI client?

Start--> Programs-->BlackBerry Enterprise Server--> Edit MAPI Profile

We too are going through that same process, where we will be moving our mail server onto another domain name.

I belive then we will have to move the BES onto the same domain name? (Correct or Not?)

When this has been completed, and the domain name has been changed on the BES to reflect the change in domain name on the mail server, aside from changing the MAPI client, what else needs to be updated?
