When we moved from 3.6 to 4.0, we just removed them from the old server and added them to the new one. Had the customer redock at their desktop, and all was good. In the new world, we wouldn't do this because they don't dock any more. We no longer have desktop software.

If I were to move servers again, I think I would share the same DB and migrate them through the tool. In your case though, I do not know if a 3.6 box can operate on a 4.1 DB. Someone else may need to chime in on this one.

Thanks, for the help when I added the new users, it said that they were already on the old server and asked if I wanted to move them. I really did not think it would be that simple
