Running Bes 4.1 on Exchange 2003. All my users are syncing wireless with the BES but recently a few have asked to be able to sync their Blackberry to their free standing laptops (that are not configured for Exchange) using the desktop software. I was playing around with it and found that it appears to be wireless or desktop but not both.....is that correct or is there a workaround?

You can't do both, otherwise it would cause complete and utter havok.

The personal e-mail/contacts/yaddayaddayadda will sync up with the ones on the exchange server, and vice versa.

Ixxx8217;m not sure if this helps any but, I can sync via BES (ExchangeMyMail) and sync via Outlook (that are not configured for Exchange). One thing I have to do on my device before syncing with Outlook is to turn Wireless Synchronization to xxx8220;NOxxx8221; for calendar, contacts etc.
