Using BES 4.1 Express for Lotus Domino

Ran a full install, including MDS

Email, Calendar, PIM, 3rd party tools like Google Maps all running great.

Decided it was time to configure Enterprise Messenger on devices to connect to our Sametime server.

Pg. 76 of Admin Guide says that I should open BlackBerry Manager, select the BES server, and then go to the "Collaboration Service" tab on which I can configure such things as the Sametime server host name, port number, etc.

Problem is, I don't have this tab? I do have tabs named Server Configuration and Connection Service, but nothing called Collaboration Service.

I've re-run the installer to make sure that I didn't miss anything. No luck.

What can I do or try next? I somehow need to tell the BES server how to connect to my Sametime server, but I don't seem to have the needed interface.

FYI - I do have full admin rights to Windows, Domino and Sametime 3.1 server.

Did you run the installer again? Just select the "BlackBerry Collabration Service" is selected and install it... otherwise, make sure that this service has been started.

I do get to select BlackBerry Server and MDS (which supposedly installs everything) and about half way through the install, I'm asked what my Instant Messaging platform is (Sametime), but other than that, nothing.

And in my list of services, I don't see Blackberry Collaboration service.

Did you fill up the server information for the Instant Messaging platform screen? Missing Blackberry Collaboration service = not installed... Try running the setup.exe and select "Blackberry Collaboration Service" only again... good luck!

As I said, when I re-run the install, I don't get the screen asking what services I want to install.

My only selection is BES ans BES with MDS

repair installation? Control Panel>Add Remove Programs>Click on support link>Repair button?
