Firstly, many thanks to everybody who contributed to my previous post regarding database queries on BES V4.0. Your help was much appreciated.

Anyway, onto my next couple of queries. In the documentation that is available on the BlackBerry website, when it shows pictures of the BlackBerry Manager, they reveal the Manager and Handheld Config Tool are together within the same console. However, after installation, I see them as separate consoles. Since the docs were written, has the design changed, or is there something I can do to 'join' them together?

Also, any idea how I can get the Phone Numbers to show up on the Handheld info panel? None of my BB users with V4.0 of the OS installed are showing the Phone Numbers. All other info e.g Serial Number, Memory and Home Network are fine.

One last thing, has anybody else noticed that the refresh option, within the BlackBerry Manager, doesn't always refresh. You have to do it a number of times for the console to actually refresh the page.

For the first question; Yes, a lot of the screens vary with 3.6-4.0 and groupwise/notes/exchange versions of BES. I haven't seen much of the documention reflect this. All the option should be there if you look hard enough however.

Are the phone numbers showing up on the devices? Goto phone and make sure it doesn't say "Phone Number: Unknown" on the main phone screen. If it doesn't, they should show up within 24hrs or so of activation. Did you upgrade from 3.6? If so, did you reactivate the users once you switched to 4.0? This might make a difference.

I've noticed that on the refesh option as well. I keep mine set at 30 secs and it seems to work fairly well. Anything under 20secs doesn't seem to catch it every time.
