Just FYI, I had a user who stated he was using Java applications like Opera Mini and VeriChat, then after he got synched to our BES, he could no longer use them. He told me that he had configured his TCP settings like so:
TCP: wap.cingular
USER:
![[email address]](http://www.blackberryforums.com/?emailimage=926ba5063332a843f899526b95997cb8)
Pass: CINGULAR1
And that if he deleted the DesktopIPPP service book, it would also delete the DesktopBrowserConfig service book and allow him to send and receive email and use his Java applications.
We filed a ticket to the BES Admin, and he "reset" the account, and then everything went back to normal, he had all the service books and could still use his Java applications.
