Question auto-signature ??

Please Login to Remove!

Iím running BES 4.0.4.3 with Notes 6.5.4 and I created a new policy for testing purposes. The test policy has disclaimer text in the auto-signature section which works, but it overwrites the userís custom signature. In other words I would like to configure the policy to force the disclaimer on all outgoing emails but at the same time allow users to create/edit their own custom signature. Is there any other way to accomplish this via policies?

Thanks in advance for your help and input.

The auto-signature property in the IT policy will overwrite a user defined signature. If you want to add a disclaimer, which will be displayed below a signature, use the disclaimer text property of the server:

BlackBerry Server -> Edit Properties -> Messenging Options -> Disclaimer Text

Isnīt this policy obsolete since 4.1 ?
Thought you can only set disclaimer since 4.1 and no more auto signature .
