Default 4.1 - can receive, but not send

Please Login to Remove!

We were runnuing a trial BES 4.0. We then bought the full BES which is 4.1. We uninstalled the old, re-installed 4.1 and re-attached the data base.

Ever since then all devices can receive emails but no longer send. New Enterprise Avtivations also don't work.

MS Exchange Server 2003, SP2.

What can we do? Any help is much appreciated.

WHat is the error message you get on the BB when the sent item fails? I'm wondering if you need to delete the Desktop [CMIME] service book?

What is the version of the store.exe on your Exchange server? Sounds like it could be the Send As permissions issue. See my tips for a Fix!

PS Make sure to do #14. It always makes me feel better

Thanks for all your help guys, I very much appreciate it. We have not resolved the issue as such, but we managed to get it all going again by downgrading to 4.0 - that did the trick.

We will now properly plan an upgrade. Thanks again.
