Thumbs up How does BES react to clusters?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello again all,

I am curious to know if anyone can tell me how BES reacts when its' management database is on a clustered SQL server and one of the cluster's nodes goes down. Do you have to restart BES services or anything?

Also, does anyone have any experience connecting BES to a clustered Exchange 2003 server? If so, is there any kind of behavior that we should be looking out for?

As always... THANKS!!!

Tom

Default

we are running Exchange on Cluster with BES on its own and SQL on its own which copies the DB daily to the recovery server.

When the cluster fails over, bes will continue to work because the virtual server name doesnt change
