Default Cost of BES provisioning in the UK?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
what is the cost for a single BB to be provisioned for BES in the UK?
I am with t-mobile, not easy finding this information on their website needless to say!

I have BES Express setup on my Exch 2003 box but only have a standard BIS account, I'm seeing errors in my BES logs like:-

(07/13 18:27:08):{0xC94} *** OTAKEYGEN *** sending ABORT_TRANSACTION, transID = 0

I'm guessing I'd need to part with more money to get this working?

thanks
Mike

I should probably point out although the phone is registered to my business the tarrif I am on is not one of the business ones.
Not sure if this makes any difference.
Anybody any ideas on cost?

thanks

You're sim card needs to be enabled on the BES tariff with T-mobile to enable a BES server/handheld to work. If you have only a BIS account it doesn't work. If you call up T-Mob they may be able to tell you the cost of the upgrade.

FWIW on O2/VF the RRP's are 12 for BIS and 36 per month for BES. I have no idea of the T-Mobile costs as we don't deal with them.

I think T-Mobile UK is also ~ xxx163;35 a month. I think you get special deals with any operator if have something to negotiate with (like buying a BES, multiple devices, etc). If you're only a single user, it may be cheaper to go down the hosted BES/Exchange route.

That's interesting, Vodafone didn't charge me any extra for enabling BES as well as BIS for my BB (15 pm).
