Default BES Migration

Please Login to Remove!

Hello all,

Looking for any helpful hints/comments for the following scenario:

Current configuration is BES 4.0.4.6 on a small 2k server box. It is using a local MS Exchange 2000 install for configuring users. All users are using the BWC to sync their mail from a Sendmail IMAP account.

Tasks at hand:

1) Migrate BES to a new server
2) Migrate users to utilize new separate corporate Exchange 2003 server for user setup and sync. Thus creating a true BES/Exchange solution.

I am thinking that I can build the new server up, import the users then change the MAPI profile to connect to the new Exchange server?

Another note:

This will also be migrating to a new domain.
