I know there are two security options on blackberries that allow you to enable content protection and content compression. Are there policy settings on the Bes which will force these settings to be enabled on the blackberry devices instead of the user being responsible for doing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are on bes 4.0

I know I enabled them once, and when you do a HH wipe it takes hours... I would leave it turned off. As long as you have a password set I think that is good enough.

you definatly 100 percent want contect compression on.

but if you have contect protection on, like the previous poster said it will take forever to boot up and is not really needed f your BB is password protected.

Also the BB is a lot slower if you have it on, more of a lag when you do "stuff"
