Question BBCorrector - need help please

Before I started this message I searched the site for bbCorrector - got tons of results, but it was hard to sift through so many threads looking for a similar situation and solution. So if this has been addressed before, my apologies.

I have a 7290. I downloaded and installed bbCorrector. I am using this server URL: with no username or password. When I try to check spelling, the misspelled words get underlined. When I go to the first one, I click on "spelling suggestions", but when I choose the correct word, it attaches itself to the previous word and cuts off the last few letters of that word - sometimes it deletes the previous word completely. When I correct this, I have to click on "spelling" again to find the remaining misspelled words, choose a suggestion for the next one, then click on "spelling" again to find any more mispelled words, etc.

Am I doing something wrong? I have read many posts where people love this app - but I'm not lovin' it yet.

Thanks in advance for any/all replies,

You are using an older version of the BBCorrector application. Try searchinhg for version 1.2.2. It was really cool becuase it allowed you to use Google spell check instead of using a webserver app. But alas Google now forwards the spell check data through SSL and the BBCorrector app doesn't like that. So I too am back to using the url.

But your issue will be corrected by loading the newer version.
