Default Anyone ever moved from SQL 2000 back to MSDE 2000?

Please Login to Remove!

I've run into a probablem that my DBA's don't have an ETA on when they are going to upgrade from MDAC 2.7 to 2.8 on the production servers. I only have 250 or so users on a decently beefy box and it more than meets the mimum requirements for 500 users and MSDE

So my situation is that I need to go from a SQL 2000 database to an MSDE 2000 database somewhere during the upgrade to 4.0.

Other than that I have a pretty simple install, single BES in a single exchange site, nothing to get excited about if it weren't for that damn MDAC. I already openned a ticket with RIM and they warn of errors migrating the users and updatnig the database during setup without MDAC 2.8

Anyone kniw if going back to MSDE is possible?

Thanks
Chuck
