What BES policy do I set to hide the "E-mail Settings" icon on the handheld.

What version of BES?

And do you mean "Email settings" inside of the messages list options?

Not sure off the top of my head, but I don't think you can hide that section, but you can enforce the settings in there.

I recently downloaded the BES Express and have configured it on my home system. My handheld is an 7750. On the main screen there is an icon called "E-Mail Settings", it appears to call up a web page for creating BIS accounts (I think).

I've scanned all of the IT Policies within the BES Manager but cannot find anything that will allow me to hide this icon. I know it can be hidden as when I worked at my last company I used this same handheld and the BES Admin team were able to hide it.

Don't think you can hide it via policy, but you can manually hide it on the handheld.

Ahhhh...my bad. Yea, that would be to set up your BlackBerry Internet Service account with your provider (or is that the icon that shows up so you can change the settings after you've set it up?).

Either way, hold the alt key and press the thumbwheel (with it highlighted of course) this will bring up a menu so you can hide it.
