Default Email Lookup

Please Login to Remove!

We're using a BES 4.1 server with GroupWise. One of the users has asked the following:

When they go to compose a new email, the default behavior is to do a lookup on the address. Is there a way to change the default so that it will just accept the address without doing a lookup?

Thanks,
Rob

The auto lookup dropdown gives you the option to look up the address or use it as typed.

If it finds a contact in your address book, that name will be added to the list also.

So, if you type 'Bob@rejects.microsoft.com', your dropdown will look like:
Email: [email address]
Lookup: [email address]

Have them select the email line.

EDIT: You cannot change the fact that lookup is highlighted by default.

Yea, we figured that out about selecting the 'email' line. We just wanted to make that the default, or eliminate the lookup function all together.

Thanks,
Rob
