Dreaded red X on sent emails
I have several bb users (7520s all of them). most of them are working fine, but on 3 or 4, they can receive but not send emails.
The error message on the unsent emails is: Sent using desktop (secure), Message: Unlisted message error.
We have a BES (Version 4.0) and are using the latest version of MS Outlook.
I am on hold w/level 3 tech support at sprint/nextel. So far, they have had me regenerate the encyrption key, kill the handheld & user and reactive, tested the PIN.
I have no real training in this....thrown in the deep end, and sometimes I sink like a stone!:razz:

What is the error mentioned on the Status Field of the failed message
Open the message and read the status field.
Is it " Unlisted Error Message"
If it is hang up with Nextel support and refer to MS Article 912918
Limited knowledge here: wouldn't that affect everyone on the server?
Is the user you are trying to activate a member of any Windows Protected groups ,like domain admins,enterprise admins etc
I don't believe so.
Are the affected users in the same OU as any known good user.
Double check their Domain Group membership
I really have no idea. I'm really only responsible for the BES (and then my knowledge is really only on the BB Manager). I've emailed the MS problem page to my computer guy - hopefully he'll get it fixed in the next day or two.
I really appreciate your help. I'm glad that I have THIS as a resource for those times when tech support doesn't help.
And, you were right about hanging up......they refered me right back to well, basically, you! ;P
